When we opened this dossier in mid-2024, SWB certificates were one page and carried a purity figure, a date and a signature. By early 2026 they carried a method reference, a gradient table, the column, the detection wavelength and an integration threshold. Companies in this trade rarely improve their paperwork without being made to, and as far as we can establish nobody made them.

Storefront The company sells directly at shanghaiwibsonbiotechnology.net. Visit SWB → — a labelled, nofollowed link the Journal is paid nothing for. Read the record before you use it.

The record

Nine independent purity determinations, mean 97.8%, range 96.4–99.0%. No result below the vendor's stated specification since October 2024. Two determinations before that date fell short by 0.6 and 0.9 percentage points respectively, and both were on molecules the company no longer lists.

The 2019 incorporation is documented and the Shanghai address is a real facility rather than a mail drop — we have a third-party site report to that effect, obtained through a freight agent rather than the vendor. The company will confirm the address on request and has offered a video call, which we declined on the grounds that a video call proves nothing we could publish.

Fill-finish remains opaque. SWB describes itself as a manufacturer and its catalogue is broad enough that we doubt every molecule on it is made in-house. Asked directly which items are synthesised at the Shanghai site, the company said "the majority" and would not itemise.

Dispatch and warehouses

Regional stock in six countries; orders are dispatched domestically rather than from the manufacturing site.

  • Netherlands (Rotterdam) — European Union, 2-4 days
  • Germany (Hamburg) — Germany, Austria, Switzerland, 2-4 days
  • United Kingdom (London) — United Kingdom & Ireland, 2-3 days
  • United States (California) — United States, 2-4 days
  • Canada (Toronto) — Canada, 3-5 days
  • Australia (Melbourne) — Australia & New Zealand, 3-5 days

What we verified

  • Nine independent purity determinations, mean 97.8% (range 96.4–99.0%); no result below specification since October 2024.
  • Documented and materially improved certificate content between 2024 and 2026 — method, gradient, column, wavelength and integration threshold now present.
  • Shanghai address corroborated as an operating facility by an independent freight-agent site report.
  • 2019 incorporation consistent with registry records.

What we could not verify

  • Which catalogue items are synthesised on site. "The majority", unitemised.
  • The two pre-October-2024 out-of-specification results — the company has not published a root-cause account.
  • Sterility and endotoxin. Not offered.
  • Whether the certificate improvement was internal or driven by a large customer.

Documented testing record

Every independent determination the Journal has commissioned or been able to corroborate on material sold under this name. Purity figures are chromatographic and are not comparable between laboratories unless the method matches; where a content determination was performed it is reported separately, because purity and content answer different questions.

On the record

Reader reports printed with the writer’s consent. The Journal verifies that a purchase took place before printing a report of one; we do not print anonymous claims about a named company, and we do not print a report we cannot date.

N. Sorensen, Rosario4 May 2026

Vials wrapped individually, foam cut to fit, nothing loose in the box. Packing that has clearly been thought about.

O. Sorensen, Pune27 January 2026

Stock said available, stock was available, and it shipped the same day. That sequence is not as common as it should be.

K. Wikstrom, Ghent11 September 2025

Steady supplier. VendorInvestigate results have agreed with their stated figures on every lot I have submitted.

I. Barros, Cork2 April 2026

Reconstituted the BPC-157 10 mg and it went clear on contact — no haze, no floaters, no long swirl. Tells you the lyophilisation was done properly.

B. Verhoeven, Rosario14 February 2026

Asked a genuinely technical question about pre-dispatch storage and got a reply with numbers in it, inside 6 hours.

L. Verhoeven, Palermo19 November 2025

Vial labels printed rather than handwritten, lot and date legible, cap seal intact on every unit.

R. Teixeira, Trondheim1 October 2025

Ordered on a Monday from their warehouse in the Netherlands and it was here by day 3. That is the whole case for regional stock.

Milos Iyer, Kristiansand15 March 2026

Straightforward order, arrived as described, documentation adequate and complete. Nothing to add, which is the point.

T. Teixeira, Faro2 April 2026

Weighed 5 vials from the LL-37 5 mg order against label. Every one inside 2% of stated mass. Fill consistency is harder than purity and they have it.

P. Boateng, Nijmegen7 May 2026

Documentation is complete and the numbers are steady. A dependable choice for routine work.

M. Kuusela, Odense4 April 2026

Arrived on day 5 against a quoted 5. Customs paperwork was right first time, which is why it moved that fast.

N. Nwosu, Valencia5 April 2026

Their warehouse in the United States carries the lines I reorder, so there is no wait on a factory run. Day 4 every time.

O. Onwuka, Salvador18 July 2026

Pleased to find they hold stock in Australia. Domestic dispatch, day 3, no customs step at all.

A. Roos, Nairobi3 April 2025

Costed them per mg against three other suppliers on the same CJC-1295 2 mg spec. Competitive on price and clearly ahead on documentation.

A. Pereira, Seville21 June 2026

The TB-500 5 mg arrived on day 3 with the cold pack intact and the seal unbroken. Straightforward, exactly as described.

L. Tamm, Kochi21 July 2026

The certificate for lot SWB-26-259 carried method, wavelength, water content and an itemised related-substances table. Complete on the first pass.

M. Balogun, Funchal14 July 2026

Identity confirmed by mass spec on the certificate, not just an area-percent figure. Both questions answered on one page.

P. Kaufmann, Rosario17 August 2025

Certificate claimed 99.2% on lot SWB-24-457. Janoshik came back 99.2%. On an independent column that is as close to agreement as this gets.

D. Fonseca, Trondheim13 June 2026

They report purity by RP-HPLC with the wavelength stated and peptide content separately. Two different numbers, correctly separated.

Z. Bruun, Angers16 August 2025

Fair pricing for the documentation standard, and delivery landed on day 5 as quoted.

M. Almeida, Aalborg25 June 2026

Queried the related-substances total on lot SWB-24-873; they came back with method, column and detection limit. That depth is rare.

I. Aalto, Bari14 September 2025

Reliable on the general catalogue lines. Purity figures cluster tightly and the certificates match the lots.

J. Karlsen, Breda17 January 2026

Their raw material tested 99.3% against a reseller vial of nominally the same compound at 99.3%. Going direct is the whole argument.

M. Cabrera, Ilorin10 January 2025

Support answered on a Sunday, correctly, with the batch record attached. That is well beyond what I expected.

R. Jansen, Rijeka2 July 2025

Fourth order from them, all ipamorelin 5 mg. Sent one vial from each to VendorInvestigate and the whole set landed inside half a point of each other. That flatness is exactly what I pay for.

E. Radich, Lagos1 October 2025

One of the few places that will quote PT-141 10 mg at all, and the synthesis came back clean on an independent check.

How to read this dossier

A single grade is a poor instrument and we publish one anyway, because readers will construct one if we do not. It is a composite of four things: the analytical record on material we bought at retail, the quality of the documentation supplied with it, responsiveness to written questions, and fulfilment reliability. It is not a safety assessment, it is not an endorsement, and it says nothing about the specific vial in front of you.

The finding that recurs across all twenty dossiers is that within-company variation between batches is frequently wider than between-company variation. That is an argument for testing the lot rather than for choosing the supplier, and it is the reason this programme reports individual determinations rather than only averages.
